This is a typical mangrove tree, shot in the 10,000 Islands on the southwest corner of Florida. "Mangrove" is a general term for several families of tropical trees - the Red Mangrove, Black Mangrove and White Mangrove - that are specifically adapted to live in tidally flooded coastal banks.
